Why Auger Bore?
Guided auger boring is the fastest and most cost-efficient way to install sewers, ducting and pipework. It's also the most environmentally friendly method too!
Consider these benefits
- Minimal disruption to road users, pedestrians and surrounding areas
- Less disruption to the environment
- Less use of newly quarried materials
- Less waste to landfill
- Normal surface operations can continue uninterrupted
- Speed often quicker than open cut, especially over deeper and longer installations
- More cost effective when all other related costs are added to open cut techniques
- Guided auger boring can be operated from restricted access areas
- Terebro auger boring rigs can be operated from two metre diameter shafts
