Dead End Bore Systems
In the case of a dead end bore, after the target point has been reached and the augers withdrawn, the smaller diameter product piping is pushed into the steel casings. Once installed, the smaller product pipes are held in position whilst the steel casings are retracted back into the starting shaft where they are removed and stored ready for the next bore.

This process can be either non Guided or Guided (with steerable auger) depending on the accuracy required.

When making house connections at main collector sewers, the collector sewer wall is cut with a diamond core drill attachment. The smaller diameter product piping is then pushed through the steel casings, and a watertight connection is established by means of a special sealing unit. To complete the procedure, the steel casings are withdrawn into the launch shaft.

Possible applications:
In all soils up to a maximum stone size of 60 mm, (single stone)
Up to 25 m, borehole length
Connection to collector from DN 500 and larger
Application limits:
Obstacles > 60 mm
Unstable ground
