Terebro provides tailored training programmes for Guided Auger Boring, Diamond Drilling and Tracked Utility Vehicle operations. With such specialist activities, standard 'open' training programmes aren't available. To address these needs, Terebro offers tailored courses to meet the specific needs of companies and of individual operators.
Because all training courses are tailored to individual needs, time isn't wasted on covering subjects which are already familiar to delegates. All training can be carried out on site, at customers' premises or at Terebro's head office in Scunthorpe.
Auger Boring
Horizontal guided auger boring is a very specialist discipline which requires specialist training. The intensity of the training depends very much on the experience of each individual. With this in mind, Terebro offers tailor-made training packages to suit specific company requirements. Below are some of the main subjects covered:
- Familiarisation with the Bohrtec Auger Boring equipment

- Routine daily checks
- Setting up the sub-frame and rig
- Setting up the theodolite guidance system

Diamond Drilling
Terebro can offer familiarisation training on our range of hydraulic diamond drilling equipment. Courses include the following:

- Setting up of the equipment
- Correct selection of diamond cores
- Checking for wear on diamond cores
- Selecting the correct drill speed and how to calculate correct drill speeds
